Web-based Planning & Decision Support

Our IT team develops and implements web-based decision support tools for complex decision-making processes, such as planning energy efficiency interventions in districts. This includes smart tools like COASTAL and SIMONA:

  A Sediment-quality Information, Monitoring, and Assessment System supporting joint Danube River Basin water management. It allows public access to long-term water quality results, running assessments, data submission, inspection support, and data export, aiding Water Framework Directive monitoring activities by EU agencies.

Dissemination & Communication

Our graphic design, IT, and marketing and communication teams work hand in hand with our project managers and partners to create innovative dissemination and communication solutions, maximising our project's’ impact. We design and maintain websites, create mobile apps, and produce targeted audio-visual materials and out-of-the-box merchandise for our projects’ target groups and end-users.

Stakeholder Engagement and Empowerment

At GEONARDO, we specialise in bringing together diverse stakeholder groups and end-users through a multi-actor approach, ensuring their voices are at the heart of project design and development. Our team engages key stakeholders using tailored strategies, including dedicated platforms, targeted outreach, and dynamic stakeholder workshops.

An example of this are our co-creation workshops, which are based on the principles of Design Thinking and are conceived to ensure stakeholder engagement, fostering collaboration and innovation. We facilitate interactive sessions where stakeholders can share insights, generate ideas, ‘practice-proof’ project results, and co-create solutions. This approach ensures diverse perspectives are integrated, leading to more effective and inclusive project outcomes.

Training and Capacity-Building

Our team designs and develops face-to-face and online training tools and solutions targeted at SMEs, industry and citizens, acting as trainers, mentors, and workshop moderators in diverse fields. We have organised Learning Labs, workshops, multi-actor labs, and brainstorming sessions in various projects.

Using our own e-Learning platform, we deliver high-quality e-learning with engaging content, interactive components, and visually appealing designs, reaching many recipients simultaneously or at different times.

In some projects, we also incorporate serious games into our training programs to provide an interactive and engaging learning experience. These games help simulate real-world scenarios, enhancing understanding and retention of complex concepts while fostering collaboration and problem-solving skills.
