REWRITE
Project Description:
The REWRITE project aims to address the challenges faced by Europe's vast intertidal areas, which play a critical role in promoting carbon neutrality and supporting biodiversity. Despite their importance, these areas are under threat, leading to a reduction in their ecological contributions. With the collaboration of multiple partners from Europe and North America, REWRITE proposes "rewilding" these seascapes as a nature-based solution. The interdisciplinary initiative seeks to understand the factors influencing rewilding amidst climate change, actively engage stakeholders in shaping the future of these coastal regions, scale rewilding strategies across Europe, and establish effective rewilding tools for a resilient European coast.
Geonardo's Role:
As a key partner in REWRITE, Geonardo leads the work on Communication, Dissemination, and Exploitation, aimed at maximising the project’s visibility and impact.
Key Contributions:
- Strategic Communication & Branding: We have developed the project's brand identity, including a comprehensive communication and dissemination tailored to reach target groups and end-users effectively.
- Optimised Digital Presence: Geonardo designed and maintains a modern, user-friendly website and interactive online spaces to engage stakeholders and foster collaboration.
- Content Creation & Outreach: We produce high-quality communication materials, ensuring regular updates across all channels, and drive engagement through event promotion, stakeholder engagement, and collaborations with EU projects and institutions.
- Impact-Driven Dissemination: Supporting other work packages, Geonardo ensures results are effectively disseminated, creating opportunities for knowledge-sharing and real-world application of project outcomes.
- Exploitation & Sustainability: We lead the development of an exploitation plan, ensuring project results achieve lasting impact and adoption by relevant actors.
