We have been actively involved in conceiving and implementing projects in the energy, environment and sustainable development fields since 2000. Most of our projects have been funded under the EU programmes, in particular the EU’s Research Framework Programmes (FP5, FP6, FP7, Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe) as well as the EU LIFE, CIP Intelligent Energy Europe (IEE) and CIP Eco-Innovation programmes. Thanks to our diverse teams in house, we are able to assume different roles and contribute to different types of activities within proposals and projects. Our experience in writing proposals and managing and coordinating projects often leads us to take on the coordination role in projects, while our project managers also undertake technical roles such as conducting environmental assessments, feasibility studies, LCA and sustinability assessments, GIS and remote sensing, 3D Terrestrial Laser Scanning as well as developing business plans, market studies, exploitation strategies and training and capacity building programs. Thanks to our IT, graphic design and communications teams, we also often lead dissemination and communication activities in projects, developing project visual identities, designing and publishing dissemination material and producing videos as well as provide web-based solutions such as online platforms, mobile apps, e-Learning courses and decision support tools.
