
BuildERS
Project Description:
BuildERS aimed to increase the social resilience capacity of European communities and citizens. Achieving this via genuinely co-designing processes and tools with citizens, first-responder organisations and tool developers. The project incorporated an inclusive and interactive research and analysis process, where the results are not derived ‘top-down’ but through a ‘bottom-top’ dynamic interaction. BuildERS consortium comprises high-profile academia, research and technology organisations, first-responder organisations and private companies. The ideology is that by focusing on the most vulnerable groups, at the most concrete level, the overall resilience of the society and communities is enhanced.
Geonardo's Role:
Geonardo was responible for managing the complete Communication and Dissemination work in the project, to maximise projects' outreach and assure its' sustainability. This included the coordination of multiple activities and events where engagement could be facilitated with various stakeholder groups, and disseminaing project results through various means and platforms. Additionally, synergies with other EU projects and similar initiatives benefuted the project through combined outreach strategies and -activities.
