New AGEMERA project kicks off in Oulu
Between 4-7 October 2022, the GEONARDO team joined the kick-off meeting of the recently launched AGEMERA at the University of Oulu in Finland. The meeting was the foundation for our future collaboration within the AGEMERA consortium, providing an overview of both the project's objectives and the ways to reach them.

On 18-19 October 2022, SCALIBUR held its final project partner meeting and the final conference, “breaking barriers to make the most of biowaste,” in Valencia at the premises of ITENE, the project coordinator.

FOODRUS holds first in-person consortium meeting

Between September 12-14, the FOODRUS consortium met for the first project review and consortium meeting. The three-day meeting took place in Bilbao, Spain – hosted by the project coordinators from the University of Deusto. The meeting was the first time that FOODRUS partners could meet in-person since the start of the project.

We attended the UN Ocean Conference!

With delegates from Member States, non-governmental organizations, and universities attending, as well as entrepreneurs looking for ways to sustainably develop the “Blue Economy”, the UN Ocean Conference took place in the city of Lisbon between 27 June and 1 July, being co-hosted by the governments of Portugal and Kenya at a critical time where major structural transformations and common shared solutions are needed to start a new chapter of global ocean action, and revert the tipping point we are about to reach.
