Between May 16-17, the FOODRUS consortium met for an hybrid consortium and progress meeting. The three-day meeting took place in Bratislava, Slovakia – hosted by the project partners from the Slovak University of Agriculture.
On the first day, the consortium reviewed the progress of the last 30 months of the project and to discuss how to further the impact of FOODRUS’ innovative solutions. Here we had the opportunity to present the FOODRUS e-learning platform and its 8 modules developed by Geonardo. During the first day, Geonardo also organized a working session for the future use of the e-learning platform at the pilot countries and associated regions and even beyond the end of the project’s timeframe.
On the second day, the consortium continued discussions on the project’s progress update and organize a series of workshops to foster collaboration within the consortium partners and determine the upcoming activities during the final year of the project. The discussed FOODRUS solutions developed during the project will ultimately feed into the FOODRUS Suite – an online dashboard that users can access in order to monitor the impact of the initiatives targeted to reduce food waste and losses.
FOODRUS is a European project made up of 29 partners from 10 different EU countries and from different types of organisations, including companies, academic and research institutions.
