WIN-BIG Wins the Atlantic Award 2025 for Blue Skills and Ocean Literacy

Celebrating a major milestone for gender equality in the Blue Economy

We’re thrilled to share some amazing news from one of our projects: WIN-BIG has won the Atlantic Award 2025 for Blue Skills and Ocean Literacy! This recognition celebrates the project’s work in boosting gender equality and supporting women’s career development across Europe’s Blue Economy.

As the partner leading communication and dissemination, we couldn’t be prouder.

WIN-BIG is all about creating opportunities, visibility and support for women shaping the future of the maritime and marine sectors. From mentoring and learning labs to awareness-raising and community-building, the project is helping women strengthen their skills and step confidently into leadership across blue industries.

Our team has been working closely with all partners from day one, building the project’s identity, driving its communications and amplifying the voices of women in the Blue Economy.
We’re deeply committed to this mission, and seeing WIN-BIG recognised at the Atlantic level is a moment of real pride for us. It reminds us why we do this work: to support innovation, equality and sustainability, and to help impactful initiatives reach the audiences they deserve.

Huge thanks to CINEA and DG MARE for the award, and to the entire WIN-BIG consortium, an inspiring group of people we’re lucky to work with. This achievement belongs to the whole community behind WIN-BIG, and we’re excited to keep bringing its message, tools and stories to life.
