The event served as a “mock” Global Multi-Actor Laboratory (G-MAL), a central element of the REWRITE project’s participatory methodology.
The G-MALs aim to co-design desired rewilding scenarios through the identification of key drivers and the co-creation of implementation protocols. During the workshop, participants engaged in a series of co-visioning exercises to test and refine the G-MAL approach ahead of its first full-scale implementation.
GEO provided valuable feedback to help strengthen the methodology, which will be applied during the first live G-MAL taking place on 28–29 October in Aveiro, Portugal. Stay tuned for updates from this exciting milestone in REWRITE’s journey toward climate-smart rewilding.
