Project Description:
TRAIN4SUSTAIN aims to harmonize training and qualification standards to promote the widespread adoption of sustainable energy skills in the European construction sector. The project focuses on establishing a Competence Quality Standard (CQS), developing a European Skills Registry, and introducing a Skills Passport to facilitate mutual recognition of qualifications across EU countries. By enhancing comparability and transparency of national qualifications, TRAIN4SUSTAIN seeks to stimulate demand for skilled professionals, support cross-border mobility, and integrate sustainability competencies into public procurement processes.
Geonardo's Role:
As the coordinator of EUB SuperHub, Geonardo oversees project management and ensures smooth collaboration among partners. It plays a central role in aligning technical developments, stakeholder engagement, and policy integration to drive the project's success and impact.

Platform Development & IT Infrastructure: Leads the design and implementation of the European Skills Registry (ESR) platform, ensuring scalability, security, and multi-language support while integrating self-assessment tools, Skills Passport functionality, and qualification scheme comparison.

E-Learning & Training Resources: Develops an e-inventory for training courses, e-learning materials, and best practices, supporting digital capacity building through webinars, video tutorials, and interactive content.
