CEE2ACT was featured at the 5th International Summer School on circular Bioeconomy and sustainable development. Geonardo was pleased to present online the CEE2ACT Project updates and preliminary results on DAY 3 at the bioeconomy summer school.
This year it was organized as a hybrid; Prof. Konstantinos Vorgias, part of the CEE2ACT project Advisory Board, invited Geonardo to present in October 2022. The event is organized by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (UoA) and the Perrotis College of the American Farm School and it counted with the support of many sponsors. The programme of the event is available here. The Summer school is also supported by the Greek Bio-Economy Forum. On Day 4, the CEE2ACT partner CluBE will be attending in person and delivering a presentation on the development of innovation in the bioeconomy at the regional level.
Accodring to our CEE2ACT partner (CluBE), the summer school on circular bioeconomy has become an established event in the last few years, thanks to the dedication of professor Konstantinos Vorias of UoA, and the participation of many bioeconomy experts from various fields and backgrounds. The event is addressed to students as well as any interested parties, and presents the latest developments as well as success cases in bioeconomy, with particular emphasis on Greece and the Balkans.
The programme was extensive and inspiring, this is why at Geonardo, we hope next year we can attend in person and present the updates of CEE2ACT.
