AQUA-LIT's online toolbox and app just launched!

AQUA-LIT, an EMFF funded project coordinated by Geonardo focusing on working with the aquaculture sector to tackle marine litter at sea, has released its main outcome: a toolbox of solutions, measures and recommendations for handling better marine litter from a prevention to a recycling state.

After working for 2 years hand in hand with the aquaculture sector from the Mediterranean, North and Baltic Seas, AQUA-LIT has made available the toolbox resulting from this work with the sector.

You can access the online version at www.aqua-lit.eu/toolbox or you can download the AQUA-LIT toolbox app available at the AppStore.

Immerse in it and explore the ideas, solutions and measures provided by the aquaculture stakeholders we worked with, check information on which ports have the facilities to receive waste, explore the funding opportunities to create a project on marine litter and check out the policy recommendations for the EU and action plans for outermost regions

If you are interested in other achievements of the project, then we invite you to check this visual timeline summarizing most of our work done, or explore the resources section of the website.
